Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Death on a Major Scale Death on a Major Scale, by Todd Furler

Divus Ex: Norse Divus Ex: Norse, by Aaron Moshiashwili and Rich Flynn

You gaze down upon Midgard from the halls of Asgard. You alter the destinies of men, control the elements, crush empires on a whim. Mortals build altars and temples in your name, lie prostrate before you, and obey your every word. Think it's all nectar and ambrosia up here?

Think again.

You can do anything you want -- but so can everyone else. Use Pentacles, Chalices, Wands, and Swords in a struggle to further your own schemes. Alter events in the mortal world and influence your fellow deities. After all, if you get caught, who can judge you? YOU ARE A GOD.

Formerly known as Deus Ex, see http://www.thalcos.com for more information about Divus Ex. To request a character, or to ask questions of the GM's, please write to Aaron.

Players: 40          Difficulty: Beginner          Age Range: 13 and Over

Humans vs. Monsters: Diplomacy Humans vs. Monsters: Diplomacy, by Interactivities, Ink.

Humans and monsters have fought for centuries; now the monsters have sued for peace. Join us for the negotiations. A silly game of negotiations, backstabbing, and politics. Very little combat.

Last Exodus: Terminal City, Eden – Explosions a Plenty Terminal City, Eden is place of vast wonder and excitement, a place where magic and technology are mixed together, angels fly the skies, and gods walk the streets, it is Heaven… literally. Terminal City is the heaven version of Earth’s New York City, but it’s not a paradise with harps and no worries - in fact it has as many problems if not more then Earth does. Heaven is in a time of great wonder as beings capable of moving back and forth from Eden to Earth have come forth… but you aren’t one of them. You are a citizen of Eden, a soul.

In Terminal City there has been a great amount of distress currently caused by attacks on transports leaving Terminal City. This has resulted in higher security through out the multiple aethership ports. Things have escalated to the extreme when the Nazerene Aethership Port had a bomb go off in its terminal. All transport ships are now closed down. There is an investigation under way by the Heavenly Host, the cops/Army/FBI of Heaven, but who knows if they can find out who has committed this atrocity, let alone stop them before it happens again.

Come play in a game where you can be almost anything you can imagine, from a robot to an angel, from an elf to a god, from a fire elemental to an alien… possibly even a demon. If you are the type of person that really gets into crazy costumes then this is a game that you can really cut loose on, or if you are a casual gamer then this is still the game for you. If you pre-register for this game send an email to the GMs with the subject of “Last Exodus LARP” and we will work with you to get you character ahead of time.

Based on The Last Exodus, an RPG by Synister Creative Systems.

Limbo v3 Revisions

Limbo v3 Revisions, by Randi Sumner and Jason DeLuca

Another experimental LARP of the minimalist genre*

All the hate, all the madness, and all the devastation - you saw it all unravel back to the beginning and rebuild itself completely anew. You envisioned it as it could have been.

But all the good unraveled as well - the love and the warmth that grew out of the insanity of the moment. That truth was dispersed and lost along with the ghastly. Where there is black, there is white. Where there is evil, there is good. North and south, east and west – the universe is filled with opposing partners constantly dancing across the equilibrium. All the interconnected juxtapositions within us are within everything - binding reality together. As you saw it happen, you saw how it wove tighter and tighter and tighter and tighter until the tension itself caused everything to unravel again.

You felt the conflict in your muscles, your bones, in the very fiber of your being. In that one moment you saw how it all could have been different for each of you. You knew that your actions did matter. You could choose. Your choice would transform everything.

She held your hand and you felt all the emotion flow out of you – a history of all that made you what you are. You felt the freedom of its release. In your detached state, critique became possible and the power of choice self-evident. Time had no meaning. Time had new meaning. You squeezed her hand and the world around you melted away into nothingness.

But you faltered. The emotions poured back into you. You were captured in the solitary confinement of self-actualization. You couldn’t hold her eye contact. The truth was too strong. You grasped how to answer, but you found yourself simply unable say the words. You knew that your determination would define your past, your present and your future. Your eye’s fluttered and looked away in the shame of uncertainty.

Wants and needs melted into each other too fast and began pulling you, pulling you, pulling you back. You looked into her eyes again hoping to find your answer and found her suddenly so very distant. The anguish was to powerful. Her eyes became steadily remote and indescribable. Time rushed back into you, holding you there. The moment lasted forever and then was gone in a blink.

You couldn’t bear the weight of it all tumbling back into you. Clamping your eyes shut, your whole body shivered and heaved with the heaviness of yourself, of your world, of your vacillation. The moment was gone and you plunged into an eternity of sleep without dreams.

You awoke sharp and alert as if you have never known exhaustion. A fog-like haze surrounds you. Slowly, as if you eyes have never seen light, it seems to be clear. You approach the haze near you and become conscious of voices just out of range.

You began to move about and realize the shadows within your radius of self-awareness are becoming solid objects. All around you the world is coming into focus.

You do not recognize this place. You walk a few steps and turn around. The haze follows you, but with less strength where you have already explored. You approach the sound of voices. Others are here you do not recognize.

E-mail Randi with questions or to talk about a character.

*Previous players and GMs of The Minimalist LARP or the minimalist genre are encouraged to play Limbo. However, they MUST [honor code] alert the GM in advance of their experience.

Star Wars: Beyond the Rim

Beyond the Rim, Nightfall Productions

The universe is a tumultuous place with the New Republic struggling to cement its place as the new government and the remnants of the Empire battling for their very survival. It seems that the safest thing for any sensible person to do is to find a rock to hide under until the worst is past. Even that option gets harder to do every day. Now from beyond the charted worlds a new threat rises that may plummet the galaxy into chaos so deep it may never recover.

Come Join Nightfall Production in its ongoing Star Wars campaign as we learn just what hides Beyond the Rim.

Additional Charge for event: $10.
