The WGP Good Neighbor Policy

Wild Gazebo Productions understands that gaming as a hobby is a rather limited market. To survive and flourish companies and event managers should stand together and help each other, not try to compete and cut each other out of the business. We do this because we love it, and diversity in games and events can only help us and the hobby in general.

To this end, we at WGP have committed to the idea of assisting our fellow game designers and convention managers in making this hobby as truly wonderful as we know it can be. We'll do our best to make sure that we don't run events against anything that might be hurt by our doing so. We don't understand the word 'rival'. We're not here to put anyone out of business.

We're happy to provide links to other games and conventions on our website*, and have flyers for them available at our conventions and events. We've got plans to run board games, LARPs, miniatures games, and RPG modules at other conventions, and hope that the staffs of other conventions will do the same at ours. If you have questions, would like to send us something, or would like to join us in this policy, please contact us at info@wildgazebo.com

It's easier to succeed standing together than it is to make it while standing apart.

It also helps us to sleep easier at night.

* We don't intend to go searching for every website of every gaming company and convention in America. Jenga's Convention Outpost does that much better than we ever could, and we're not willing to step on her toes anymore than we want to step on yours. However, if you represent a gaming or convention management company, and you'd like your company to be linked on our website, e-mail us with the information you'd like us to put up, and we'll get you linked as soon as we can.
